Abstrakty článků v odborných časopisech, plné texty článků v on-line časopise "Professional Surveyor Magazine", plné texty příspěvků z konferencí, odkazy na podobné linky. Společnost tvoří čtyři členské organizace. Společně plně pokrývají celé spektrum vědních oborů působících na poli prostorových datových informací (The American Association for Geodetic Surveying, The Cartography and Geographic Information Society, The Geographical and Land Information Society and The National Society of Professional Surveyors). ACSM také zahrnuje řadu geograficky orientovaných sekcí, jež vytvářejí fórum pro diskuze týkající se průmyslu jako celku; často spolupracují s vysokými školami a univerzitami.

Description:
American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM) is a non-profit organization. It was founded to better coordinate surveying and mapping activities. Today the members of ACSM´s Member Oragnizations include more than 7000 surveyors, cartographers, geodesists, and other spatial data information professionals working in both public and private sectors throughout the world. The objectives of ACSM are to advance the sciences of surveying and mapping and related fields, to encourage the development of educational programs in surveying, mapping and charting, and to support publications that represent the professional and technical enterests of surveying and mapping. Abstracts from many scientific journals could be found here, together with the full-access to the „Professional Surveyor Magazine“.
